There is a good attendance. Results:— Trial Plate.—2 Lucre 1, 6 Kotaki Eka 2, 3 Austerity 3. Scr.: False Scent, Royal Mission. Streamer, Auctioneer, Juggle, Whenuatonga, Potoaform. Won by three lengths, the same between second and third. Time, 1.22 3-5. First Hack Hurdles.—s Hard Gold 1, 3 Lady Gay 2, 6 Ah Wera 3. Scr.: Royal Damon Ned Kelly, Ironic, Inferno, Gun Area. Won by five lengths, one and a half lengths between second and third- Time, 2.59 2-5. Spring Handicap.—2 Royal Black 1, 8 Calithe 2. 3 Fine Acre 3. Scr.: Bold Front, Elysianor, Curtsey. Won by three lengths, 14 lengths between second and third. Time. 1.59 1-5. Marton Handicap.—l Barometer 1, 2 Black Mint (coupled with Royal Game) 2, 3 Gold Cure 3. Scratched: Mint Leaf, Mountain Heath, Beaumont, Discourse. King Quex. Won by a head; five lengths between second and third. Time, 2.19.
