A Colonial Office communique states: “The latest reports from Palestine state that all is quiet and that the situation on tho TransJordan frontier shows definite improvement. The High Commissioner for Syria is arranging to reorganise and reinforce the French military dispositions on the southern Syrian frontier to prevent armed bands of Arabs from entering Palestine. Tho Colonial Office communique states: “Our armed forces hold all the important centres in Palestine from Safed in the north to Beersheba in the south, and in this area tho situation is reported as quiet. It is further reported that the Bedouin tribes in Sinai, Syria and Trans-Jordania are concentrating to march on Palestine, and that some have already crossed the frontier. “A force of armoured cars has been sent to deal with the situation. All the aircraft of tho fleet air arm of the service carried by H.M.S. Courageous have been landed at Gaza. “Ten Jews are reported to have been killed and 29 wounded, and two Moslems killed and four wounded in the disorders at Safed reported in yesterday’s statement.” BEDOUINS DISPERSED. A Nationalist Party meeting decided to cable the League's mandates commission, urging it to convince Great Britain of the necessity of withdrawing the Balfour declaration, which is the cause of the bloodshed in Palestine. Indian Moslems residing in Egypt decided to cable the League protesting against Jewish attacks on Arabs and the partiality of the authorities, who are helping tho Jews.
