The “Daily Express” reveals that Colonel Rutherford was released from Broadmoor Criminal Lunatic Asylum at the beginning of the year on condition that he left England. He has taken up his residence in the East, but his family has received no direct communication from him since his release. * Colonel Rutherford was found guilty but insane in 1919 when tried for the murder of Major Miles Seton.
