In the event of war between Wuhan and Nanking, arising out of the present quarrel, it seems that nothing will stop Canton throwing in her dot with the Wuhan side, thereby involving the whole of the south.
Military leaders fn Canton*aje already taking active steps and thousands of troops have been deipatched by special trains northwards. At least 30,000 will be ready to cross the Kiangse bjrder. •
