Maoris of Auckland are to meet at St Stephen’s College grounds, Parnell, next Sunday afternoon, to welcome the newly-appointed Bishop of Aotearoa. Bishop Bennett. It will be tho bishop's first visit to Auckland since lie was ordained. Te Akaranu Maori Association is largely concerned m the arrangements for meeting the b shop. and the meeting will he a typical Maori welcome. There will bo speeches, and possibly hymns will be sung in Maori* and English.
