According to a statement at a meeting of the Wellington provincial branch of the Farmers’ Union this morning at Palmerston North, federation between that bods and the Dairy Fanners’ Union has been agreed upon, to be effective from April 1 next.—(Press Association.) Myrtle Ham, aged 18, of Roto-o-rangi, Cambridge, was taken to the Waikato Hospital suffering from head injuries, the result of a fall from a horso while riding at jumps. Her condition is serious. .
