MOTOR CYCLE RACING

ILASTER MEETING aARIGVNGEMENTB. The executive of the Napier Motor Racing Club met last evening, Mr. L. Pickering presiding. There were present Messrs J. - Harris, J). Kirk, B. Corrington, A. Wright, S. Erskine, H. Hill, J. Taylor, and B. Morice. Leave of absence was granted to Messrs L. T. Bisson and L. Limbrick. It was decided (B that all local amateur riders taking part on Easter Monday should have their affiliation fees paid by the club: (2) to call alternative tenders for the following selling rights at Easter Monday’s race meeting: (1) Luncheons, (2) icecreams sweets, etc. ; tenders to be given separately and together. The secretary was instructed to apply to the N.Z.A.C.U. for perniission to hold additional race meetings at Napier on the following dates: January 2, 1930. and Easter Saturday and Easter Monday. 1930. An invitation is to be forwarded to the N.Z.A.C.U. to hold the next annual conference, in Napier. It was decided to take out a public risk insurance, t‘(e matter being left to a sub-committee. The grounds (iz’iniittce is to inert during the week end for the purpose of inspecting tlu ground. Mr. L. Pickeiihg was accorded a hearty vote of tAanks for the use of a room, and was congratulated on being elected president of the Gas Companies’ Association.
