Forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day, covering the area between Wairoa, To Ante and the ranges >u land The rear side of the Antarctic disturbance “Bisox” is maintaining its ground with remarkable persistency, and while its energy is chiefly confined to more southern latitudes yet conditions on the coast are conducive for more or less cloudy and changed weather with sudden passing, albeit scattered showers, and possibly some hail at times. Such conditiops, however, should be mitigated bv fairer intervals pending the development of more settled pressure. Winds fresh to squally at times from between west-aorth-west, south-west and south. Seas roughish to rising.
