ARNE BORG, RECORD SMASHER. (Received 22 10.55 a.m.) I Australian and N.Z. Press Association.! Sydney, Jan. 21. Arne Borg at Manly baths to-night smashed records in all directions. Tn the mile swim, which was done in 21 minutes 6 8-0 seconds, thereby lowering the world's record by 344 seconds : he also beat his own record for 880 yards by a second, also the Australian record for three-quarters of a mile, which is covered in 17mins. 4 l-ssecs.
