(Received 22, 11.25 a.m.) Delhi, Jan. 21. Ex-King Inayatuliah and the members of his family have left Peshawar for Chaman and Kandahar. It is reported that Bacchasakao, the rebel King, has been killed. There is another rumour that he fled from Kabul. A large force of Shinwaris departed for Kabul with the intention of driving Bacchasakao from the capital. It appears that Inayatuliah surrendered the Kabul citadel to Bacchasakao in order to avoid further bloodshed. The Moslems at Peshawar expressed sympathy with and eulogised Amanullah, also urging Moslems throughout India to support him, A revolt is reported on the western Afghan border, where the Suranis tribe murdered all the Afghan officials with the exception of the governor. Advice from Herat states that Amanullah has rescinded his abdication and assumed supreme power now that Inayatuliah is driven out from Kabul. Bacchasakao, the new Ameer, is reported to he inclined to abolish the Foreign Ministry, sever all relations except with Britain and restore the country to the condition reached prior to the declaration of independence.
