“LEARN TO SWIM" CAMPAIGN
[United Press Association—By CableCopyright.] [Australian and N.Z Press Association.] (Received 21, 9.25 a.m.) Melbourne, Jan. 21. “A Learn to Swim” campaign is in progress in Victoria. Seven thousand non-swi miners have applied for instruction and 1000 noted swimmers have offered their services as instructors and it is expected that by the end of next week 10,000 persons of all ages will have learned to swim.
