PROFESSIONAL TITLE. N.S.AV. SEMI-FINALS. [Australian and N.Z. Press Assn.] Sydney. November 29. The thirty-six hole stroke comptti tion for the professional szolf championship of New South Wales entered upon the semi-finals stage on the Australian [inks at Kensington to-day. W. L. Clark, holder of the State title, having defeated F. Popplewell, open champion of Australia, bv three and two, he tried conclusions to-day with Don Spence, the young Leura professional. Spence eventually won im great style by two and one. The other semi-final was between Frank Eyre and Arthur Spence. The latter won, two up. The final will be played on Saturday.
