Lack of unanimity is disclosed in the report of the fur farming committee appointed by tho New South Wales Minister for Agriculture (Mr Thorby) to consider the desirability of controlling and encouraging the production of fur and fur skins in New South Wales. . Six members of the committee, who represented rural interests, issued a majority report, mid are unanimously against any plan to commercialise the rabbit, which is regarded a? a menace to primary industries. The minority report recommended that tho farming of domestic rabbits be permitted under certain safeguards.
