NEXT TUESDAY’S CONCERT
BRIGHT PROGRAMME ARRANGED. A pleasing feature of the programme published in the advertising columns of to-day’s edition of the “Tribune” for the concert to be held in Hastings on Tuesday next, js the inclusion of the sketch. “A Fair Encounter,” to be given by Mrs H. S. Hindmarsh and Miss Una Loudoun, of Napier. This item is a clever little farce consisting of bright up-to-date dialogue which created something of a furore when produced in Napier recently. As the members of the ballet arranged by Miss Jean Ballantyne recently journeyed to Napier to assist in a concert there, the action of Mrs Hindmarsh and Miss Loudoun in acceding to the committee's request to present their comedy in Hastings, displays a graceful acknowledgment on the nart or these ladies to the efforts of the Hastings girls in assisting on that occasion. Tickets for this production can be obtained at Pratt's, where the box plans are now open.
