A bush tragedy 15 miles from Saint George is reported by local fishermen who found the partly buried body of a man, aged about 24. in a dried-up riverbed, where he had been hastily buried in sand, but had become uncovered. The head and throat were terribly gashed, suggesting that he had been murdered, while sleeping. The remains of a fire were found, where clothing had been recently burned. The police have arrested a new arrival, James Frank.
