Despite the favourable report qt United States experts on the possibilities of New Zealand hardwoods for paper pulp, a word of caution regarding the tendency to over-enthusiasm on the commercial possibilities of the industry, is very necessary at this juncture. The industry is such a highly technical one, and involves such : large capital investment, that the nt nost care must be exercised in its esflblishment in New Zealand, otherwise a precipitate failure will unduly prejudice the later development and expansion of the industry.
