CAR STRIKES POLE. EIGHT INJURED; FIVE DYING. (United Press Association—By CableCopyright.] (Australian and N.Z. Press Assn.] (Received 14, 9.45 a.m.) Sydney, July 14. A terrible oar accident occurred at 3 o’clock this morning, in which eight were injured, mostly women, and nve are dying. The* car. which struck an electric light pole, was reduced to fragments. The accident occurred in the vicinity of the Liverpool military camp.
