THE “WIRELESS” APPEAL
FOR HASTINGS HOSPITAL. STILL GROWING SLOWLY. In connection with the H.B. Radio Society’s appeal for funds for the installation of a radio receiver and headphones in the Hastings Memorial Hospital, the first £lOO is now well in sight. The secretary of the society has received a cheque for £6 from Messrs Dalgety and Co., the proceeds from the sale of six sheep at Stortford Lodg sales on behalf of Mrs J. Gillies, an action which is greatly appreciated by the collectors. Further amounts sent to the secretary, Box 136, Hastings or the treasurer, Mr. J. Stickland Queen street, will be thankfully acknowledged. The following further donations have been received :—
