ANOTHER RICH UNCLE

LEAVES WEALTH TO BROWN

Hamilton, June 23. Apparently Mr. L. W. W. Brown, of Hamilton, inherited £f8,750 in addition to the £lO,OOO from the estate of the late Charles Brown mentioned in yesterday’s cables. The sum of £18,750 comes from another uncle. William James Brown, who died in August and left £300,000, a quarter whereof is to be divided between the three nephews ant) the niece, who are in New Zealand. Br. Brown stated this morning that this legacy is not absolutely assured, but is considered so according to legal advice.
