The members of the Hastings Baptist Missionary Union and Young Women’s Bible Classes are making an effort on Wednesday afternoon next to raise funds for Medical Missionary Work in India, Jumble, sweet and cake stalls will be i’ evidence and afternoon tea provided at a reasonable cost The patronage of friends and sympathisers is solicited. In the evening, Miss Cowles. a missionary on furlough from India, will speak, and with vocal items and refreshments an interesting and profitable gathering should result.
