Cambridge University, in the first innings, scored 453 (Seabrook 103, Killick 100, Longfield 55). Surrey in the first innings scored 182 (Ducat 80), and followed on, making 394 (Sandham 122, Block 60, Barling 64, Shepherd 74). The game was drawn. Kent, in the first innings, scored 265 (Ashdown 62, Legge 90), and in the second 318 for five, and declared (Hardinge 62, Ashdown 63, Woolley not out 102). Essev, in the first innings scored 181 (Freeman took seven for 61) and in the second 215 (O’Connor 64; Freeman took five for 93). Kent won by 187 runs. Yorkshire, in the first innings, scored 295 for five and declared (Sutcliffe 79, Oldroyd 119). Worcestershire, in the first innings, scored 169 (Tarbox 67; Macaulay six for 53), and in the second innings 106 (Robinson took four for 57 and Macaulay five for 45). Lieutenant Arnold took six for 41) and followed on and scored 332 (Lieutenant Shaw 83, Lieutenant-Commander Halsey 80. Cunliffe 64; Captain Holsey took four for 65). Army won by ten wickets.
