“APPLE POST"

FRUIT PACKER RECEIVES REPLY. “EMPIRE GOODS, ALL THE TIME.” It has been the custom of the manager of the G’reenmeadows Fruit Farm during the present season, when packing for export, to put a letter in some of the cases indicating that the fruit was grown on the farm, and expressing the hope that it would arrive in good condition and give satisfaction. He also stated in the letter that he would be pleased to receive answers to it. The name of the packer who packed the case in which the fruit was put, was also stated. Last week a reply was received from one of the letters. It was sent by a gentleman residing 1 in Kent who is the manager of a large department in a store. He states: “I am interested in the memo found in the case of apples packed by your packer, and must congratulate you on the perfect fruit, careful grading and pack, every apple in the case being perfectly sound. My aim is ‘Empire Goods’ all tho time.”
