FOR HAWKE’S BAY DISTRICT ISSUED DAILY BY MR K K, WRAQGE, FR.M.B. EXCLUSIVE TO “TRIBUNE.” [By Telegraph—Special to the “Tribune. 1 Birkenhead, May 29. Forecast for 24 hours from 9 a m. to-day, covering the area between Wairoa, Te Ante and the ranges inland :— The recent tropical disturbance is now a negative quantity but a subsidiary Antarctic disturbance has developed and now operates. Expect gloomy, raw weather with intermittent rain «ni the coast. Precipition should be more general in the high, timbered country to th* westward and should also extend coastwards in a north-westerly direction, particularly along the waterways. Fresh to strong winds from between north, north-east, north and west. Sea rough off shore.
DOMINION METEOROLOGIST’S REPORT.
The Dominion Meteorologist telegraphs as follows for 24 hours from 9 a-m. this day*;—The indications are for northerly winds moderate to strong and backing by west to south. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts, with rain probable, and the weather will probably become colder. Barometer rising slowly soon.
