The fortnightly euchre party and dance was held in the school on Friday evening. Although the weather was inclement a great number of people assembled. The euchre prizes were won by Mrs Beach and Mr Marden and the consolation prizes were awarded to Miss B. Lindsay and Mr A. Masters. The committee are extremely grateful to the Quinteppo Orchestra, of Hastings, who kindly gave their services for the dancing. Although this is only a recentlyformed orchestra the music was excellent and many appreciative remarks were passed by the dancers. Many thanks are due to those who played extras. Dancing was indulged in until well after midgight.
