A further meeting of the unemployed took place in Napier yesterday at which Mr John Mason, M.P., stated that the local bodies were moving in the matter of providing work but, unfortunately it would bo three or fouweeks before an actual start could be made. Mr Mason said there was work for 42 men on road formation in the Tutira and Waikaremoana districts, but the men stated that the conditions were too unsatisfactory.
