Hope is still held out for some of the rev' maining 130 entombed men because of the discovery by the rescuers of a miner, Frank Bucsha, who was found sitting on a rail. “Where have you been?** he was asked. “I have been here for three days now,’’ he replied. “If you had not come soon something would have choked me.” He had sufficient strength to leave the stretcher upon reaching the stw face.
