Two Men Event.—Dannevirke A, 38 4-ssec, 1; Waipukurau A, 40 4-3 sec. 2; Masterton B, 41 2-ssec. 3. Five Men Stand Pipe and Union Event.—Masterton, 35sec. 1: Lower Hutt, 36 l-ssec. 2; Petone, 36 3-ssec, 3. The sevententh annual conference was held on Friday night, the president, Deputy-Superintendent J. Doran (Lower Hutt) presiding. The election of officers resulted: Presiient. Fireman H, Braggins (Maste: ton); vice-presidents. Foreman O. Silbury (Petone), Secretary C. Robinson (Napier). Superintents R R. Anderson (Marton) and Chambers (Waipukurau); treasurer, Foreman }[. Price (Hastings); secretary, DeputySuperintendent R. Henderson (Hastings) : auditor. Fireman J. D Donovan (Hastings). The next demonstration is to Le held at Marton.
