CHRISTCHURCH BEATS H.B. Christchurch March 20. Speed and accuracy enabled the Christchurch A. team to beat Hawke's Bay in the first round of the Savile Cup polo tournament to-day.Jt happened that these two teams one the Holder of the cup and the other a formidable challenger, met iu tile iin round. Christchurch jumped into the commanding lead of fl—l, but thereafter the Bay men held their own, and the finel score was: Christchurch 10 Hawke’s Bay 6. In the Junior Cup match Fielding beat Amuri, 9—7.
