HASTINGS RADIO.
MEMBERS MEET AT HAVELOCK NORTH. The Hastings Radio Society held their meeting last night at the residence of the Rev. R. B. and Mrs. Waugh, of Havelock North where the v were most hospitably entertained. After the routine business was fin ished Mr. Waugh gave a delightful demonstration on his various sets, and altogether a most enjoyable time was spent and the thirty members who journeyed out were profuse in their thanks to their host and hostess Mr. and Mrs. Waugh. Before leaving for home the Rev. F. A. Bennett, president of the club said how nice it was to get out of the cold atmosphere of usual meetings and t< be able to meet in such a friendly manner, it would no doubt do much good to the cause to be able tq meet at other members houses in this man ner. The Rev. R. B. Waugh thank cd Mr. Bennett for his kind remarks and said that he hoped to see tluun all back again later on. RADIO LISTENERS. ARE THEY SATISFIED? “Are radio listeners satisfied?” That’s the question whichit was proposed to answer at a public meeting called for last evening at Aucki? Listeners-in were asked to go to the meeting and express their views. Re sofnlions were to he submitted regarding programmes, company control the proposed advisory hoard, the pub lication of R. B. C. accounts ami the Radio Record. Among those who were invited to speak have been Messrs. A. R. Harris G. McNamara and T, W. Stringer. I
