KIDNAPPED

BOOTLEGGERS' EXPERIENCE.

ABDUCTED BY BOGUS POLICEMEN. (Received 19, 9 a.m.) New York, March 17. A message from Detroit states that James Hall, a business man in a nearby town, was yesterday kidnapped by two men who represented themselves as policemen, and held for 10,000 dollars ransom. This was paid to-day, when Hall was released. This abduction is one of a long series of kidnappings of individuals dealing in alcoholic beverages.—(A. and N.Z.)
