Three men caused quite a stir in Herschell street, Napier, this aftainoon. They were at first in th* alleyway of an hotel where they were squabbling among themselves. As a result of their behaviour Constable Boddington and Constab e Brown went in to arrest them. Once out on the street the two men that Constable Boddington had taken in charge put up a stout resistance, and for some minutes the constable had a strenuous time. Further police arrived from the station, mid all were soon placed in the lock-up. They will appear before the Court, to-morrow morning.
