LOSS OF LINER MAFALDA
COURT OF INQUIRY. (Received 23, 11.35 a.m.) Rome, Feb. 22... A Court of Inquiry found that i.ic direct cause of the loss of the liner Principessa Mafalda was that the left propellar shaft fell away causing a leak that could not be stopped bo* cause it was impossible to close one of tho small communication potals.— (A. and N.Z.).
