The New Zealand Amateur Athletic Council has recommended the following, in order of merit, as representatives at the Olympic GamesS._ Lay (Hawera), javelin; Miss N. Wilson (Gisborne), sprints; R. A. Rose (Wellington), distance runner; F. S. Ramson (Wellington), hurdles; F. Grose (Canterbury), cycling; M. Leadbetter (Canterbury), sprints; R. W. Lander (Wellington), hurdles. The council, in forwarding the nominations, places the first three as preferential, the others to be sent if funds permit. Rose, however, may not be available.
