The weather was bright at G ingutui this morning, but the outside of the course was hard lor training operations ,and most of the work was done on the plough which was in good order. The northern horses, which arrived overnight were out early but were not extended. Overhaul beat Wingatui over 1<) furlongs on the outside ot the grass in 2.17$ Plaster beat Wing Truv on the same track over lour furlongs in 54 l-ssec, Lucv Locket was much too good lor Quickform over a mile in 1.52. Rin Tin Tin, who has grown since she Christmas meeting, did two rounds at three-quarter pace attractively. Set Sail was accompanied bv Blighting over seven furlongs on the plough in 1.34 2-5. and anxious to impro.e the pace. Rob ran four furlongs in 52 3-ssec on the plough going easily, but blowing very hard Eliminator ran six furlongs on the ■ugn the last five taking 1.11. Receipt ran five furlongs on use ploug-i, the last four in 53sec. Silver Paper and Wayward were both worked on the lend. Dumblane galloped over four furlongs attractively. the last three taking 40sec. Corinthia beat Trady and Fiift Lady easily in 1.25. Beauty Light beai Hard Prince and Kapuna over four flights of schooling hurdles. Night March ran four furlongs on the plough in 50 2-ssec —the be-t half-mile of the morning, and did it very easily. Scion and Karitan® finished together over six furlongs in 1.22 2-5.
