UNITY OF THE EMPIRE

How To Accomplish It Co-operation With Each Other Mr Amery s Opinion (British Official Wiresless.) (Received 6, 10.30 p.m.) Bugby, Feb. 4. Having completed his great tour of the dominions, the Colonial Secretary, the Rt. Hon. L. M. Amery, accompanied by Mrs. Amery, left New Brunswick last night for England. In a final speech at St. John, Mr. Amery said: “It has been a great inspiration to travel through so manv countries, each with its individual, history, life and experiences, and each confident of a great future.” Mr. Amery expressed the opinion that the ultimate perfect unity of the Empire rested not upon the Governments but on the co-operation of the various countries with each other, with their sense of loyalty each to the other as comrades under the same King and part of the same empire.
