DOMINION TOURNEY OPENS. RECORD ENTRIES. Pei Press Association). Palmerston North, February 6. The Dominion tournev of the New Zealand Croquet Council commenced to day entries constituting a record, 100 more than last year being received. The president of the council. Mr J. Murrav, said this year’s tournament marked an epoch in New Zealand cro. quet because of the visit of the English team, to whom he extended a hearty welcome. An official welcoma was -also extended by the Mayor.
