WEST BRISTOL SEAT. London, February 2. The by-election for West Bristol, due to succession of Colonel Gibb (Conservative) to the peerage, resulted ;— C. Culverwell (Conservative) 16.970 Lady Clare Annesley (Labour) 7,702 AV. Marcy (Liberal) 4.996 —(A. and N.Z.) Voting figures at the general election were:—Lieut.-Col. G. A, Gibbs (Con.) 23,574, M. Giles (Lab.) 6276.
