BRITAIN REACHES OUT. BIG DEAL WITH HUNGARY. Vienna, Dec. 23. An important development of Britain’s new’ foreign trade drive is revealed in the announcement that a British company, with a capital of £3,000,000, lias been granted a concession for the establishment of large electrical works at Banhida, near Totis, in Hungary. It is reported that the Hungarian Government has completed the agreewith with a group of British investors. The works will provide for the electrification of the railway line from Budapest to the Austrian frontier, and will supply power to the Budapest Municipality. The agreement provides that British industry is to receive 40 per cent, of the orders involved in the scheme, including orders for 20 electric locomotives.
