LIBRARY HOURS.
(To the Editor.) Sir.—Would you mind stating through your valuable columns what time (a) reference and lending library (b) reading room opens and closes, as sometimes it closes at ten minutes to nine and sometimes half-past nine. —Yours etc., LIGHTHOUSE. [The following arc the hours of attendance for the lending and reference rooms, the time in parenthesis being that from September 1 to April 30:—Monday, 2 to 5. 7 to 8.30 (9) p.m.; Tuesday., 10 to 12. 2 to 5, 7 to 8.30 (9) p.m.; Wednesday, 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 2 to 5; Thursday. 10 to 12.30: Friday. 2 to 5, 7 to 8.30 (9) p.m.; Saturday, 10 to 12, 2 ;to 5, 7 to 9.30 p.m.; Sunday, reading room only—lo to 4 p.m. On week days the reading room is open until 10 p.m—Ed.
