The event of the season ns far as the. children are concerned, the annual fancy dress ball, will take nlaee in the Hall on Friday evening next, when a wonderful evening is anticipated. Good prizes will be offered for the best fancy dresses. Mrs Robertson’s orchestra will snnnlv the music for the dancing which will commence at 8 p.m. A ’bus will leave the Hastings Post Office at 7.30 p.m. The executive committee has been working hard getting everything in order for the evening, and they assure patrons that an enjoyable time awaits them.
