SPANISH PLOT
TO ASSASSINATE KINO AND PREMIER. DIRECTORATE ANNOUNCED. Madrid, Oct. 2. The Spanish police discovered a widespread revolutionary plot and conspiracy to assassinate King Alfonso and General de Rivera. in retaining the dictatorship. Great excitement has been caused by the publication of a leaflet by the Conservative ex-Premier, Senor Sanchez Guerra, denouncing King Alfonso for having assisted in setting up a despotism which past generations had fought to overthrow.
