THE VALUE OF AN ISOLATION PADDOCK
Every dairy farmer should have a small paddock where he can keep a beast absolutely away from all oilier cattle. Then, every time he buys new he can keep them under observation until he is certain they are free from disease. It is quite a simple thing, yet probably not 1 per cent, of the dairy farmers have a
paddock in which they can isolate cattle suspected of suffering from disease. The reason why abortion disease is so common is that one ol the commonest ways of spreading it is the sale of infected cattle.
