HER ” GLORY BOX ” A THOUGHTFUL BRIDE MAKES INTERESTING CONFESSION. While touring the West Coast of the South Island recently a well-known commercial man called on a newlymarried couple away in the backblocks. The journey had been arduous, and, when asked by his hostess if he would partake of some refreshment, the traveller replied: “Thank you, 1 will; but I wonder if you have any Anti-Acido in this part of the country ” The hostess burst out laughing. "Of course we have! I was doubtful of the effect of my amateurish cooking on Bill’s digestion, so I packed a tin of Anti-Acido in my glory box. Wo needed it, too, didn’t we, Bill?” Bill grinned. "It certainly save the situation. Bess is a smart woman. If every young wife gave her husband Anti-Acido there would be no indigestion to disturb connubial bliss, and everybody would be healthier and happier. Look at me!
