INSTALLATION OF WARNING BELL URGED. (Special to “Tribune.") Wellington, Oct. 1. Notice has been given by’ Mr John Mason (Nupiec) to ask the Minister of Railways whether he will instruct the Department th once to install a warning bell at Woodcock’s crossing. When gong on to this crossing, said Mr Mason, it is very difficult owing to the situation of houses in the vicinty to see an approaching train either from the north or the south and two collisions have occurred at this crossing one as recently as the 13th of this month.
