A BIG HAUL
ARMS AND AMMUNITION BELIEVED TO BE FOR COMMUNISTS. (Received 30, 9.40 a.m.) Amsterdam, Sept. 29. Customs officers made a big haul of arms, including 100 revolvers and i.OOO cartridges, aboard the Dutch toamship Gemma bound for tbe East Indies. It is believed they were smuggled aboard by Chinese stokers on behalf of Communists.—(A. and N.Z.)
