SENSATIONAL DISCOVERIES DETECTIVES SCOURING LONDON PHOTOS OF NEW CLUES CIRCULATED. ißr Cable -Press Attn. - Coprrlghtl (Received 30, 12.30 p.m.) London, Sept. 29. Inconnection with the police murder, Scotland Yard has made further sensational discoveries, including a man’s handkerchief with "A. H. Miller” in black marking-ink on It; also a small tin containing 101 rounds of .455 revolver bail ummounition in a tin on waste ground at Brookgreen Hammersmith. The police are circulating photos of the new clues, together with the revolver. One of the largest staffs of detectives ever employed is scouring the various quarters of London in a day and night long search for certain persons. —(A. and N.Z.) FINGER PRINTS IDENTIFIED. OF WELL-KNOWN CRIMINALS. (Received 30, 9.40 a.m.) London, Sept. 29. The police have identified the finger prints on the car as belonging to two well-known criminals and are combing London for three men regarding whose movements on the night of Constable Gutteridge’s murder important statements have been obtained.—(Sydney “Sun” cable.) An overnight cable stated: The police have released Andrew Baldwing, who surrendered in connection with the murder of Constable Gutteridge, disbelieving bis confession.
