The Geraldine Racing Club's-meet-ing opened to-day on the Orari course- The iveather was excellent and the track fast. There is a very large attendance. Results:— First Hurdle Handicap.—4 Tarleton 1, 7 Gay Jim 2, 3 Rangitahi 3. Snatched: The Babe. Won by one length, three lengths between second and third.. Geraldine Cup.—3 Set Sail 1, 1 Rapier 2, 8 Margaret Birney 3. Won by half a length, two lengths between second and third. Time, 2.9. Ohapi Hack Handicap 3 Greyfinch 1, 1 Miss Trillion 2.2 Coupling 3. Scr: Martian Spear. Won by two lengths, a neck between second and third. Time. 1.3. KUROW "ACCEPTANCES. Oamaru, Sept. 29.
