BOXING.

NAPIER FIGHTS TO-NIGHT.

The Napier Boxing Association will stage two fine bouts in the Municipal Theatre this evening, when Griffiths and Carr, and Leckie and Carroll will be seen in action. Great things are promised for Carr, who is a miner from the West Coast, and stated to be a hard, clean fighter. Griffiths is in the pink of condition, and should give a good account of himself against the West Coaster. The other fight. Leckie and Carroll, should prove a draw, and it is anticipated it will be full of good boxing. A pro gramme of music will be supplied by Mr Billy Mitchell, of the Cabaret Orchestra. A letter appears elsewhere in this issue relative to Carr's boxing abilities.
