Fritz Hugo Dolling a hairdresser, pleaded guilty to using a shop at Petone as a common gaming house. The police stated the premises were raided yesterday morning. The re cords showed that the accused nad been carrying on betting for some years. He had taken over £3OO of bets on Saturday and £5O the morn ing before the raid. Accused was fined £75 in 1922 for a similar ofTenec and hud appealed successfully against the conviction. The Magistrate imposed a fine of £lOO.
