Present quotations are:—-Mutton, fine 37/- to 37/6 per cwt, fair to good 31/6 to 36/6, dark to dull 32 '6 to 33/6; beef, sweet and/or mixed 36/6 to 40/-, fair to good 34/- to 36/-, dark to dull 32/. to 33/-; mixed, fair to good 34/3 to 36/-, dark to dull 30/- to 32/6; gut, etc., 28/- to 32/6. Honey: Market quiet. Present are:—New Zealand, white .Hs'- to 86/- per cwt. light amber 70 - to 80/-. medium ember prime 60 - to 65/-. dark 58/- to 60/-: Californian. 46/- to 58/-; Cuban. 32/- to .46/-, Siberian, 28/. to 52/-; Ar-rntine. white 40/- to 42/6; Jamaican. 32/6 to 50/-.
Wool: Competition continue brisk at sales and opening price levy’ rmiy sustained.
